Durga graduated with a law degree from Multimedia University, Melaka in 2017. She commenced her pupillage at one of the prominent law firms in Kuala Lumpur, Messrs Ghazi & Lim, where she was exposed to various conveyancing matters including, tenancies, perfection of transfer & charge and etc. She was subsequently admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of High Court of Malaya in 2018.

Thereafter, she began her career as a legal associate at one of the reputable law firms, Messrs Leong Yeng Kit & Co, where she was the main associate of the conveyancing department and handled various subsale transactions, developer projects and various corporate transactions. In order to broaden her professional experience, Durga extended her career at one of the oldest and prestigious law firms in Klang, Messrs Rastam Singa & Co, where she focused on real estate transactions, retail and corporate loans and also advised corporate clients in various corporate transactions.

In her years of practice, Durga built a specialization in corporate and conveyancing matters and she is adept in handling and advising both individual and corporate clients on will & trust, corporate & commercial transactions and real estate transactions including:

• Acquisition and disposal of residential, industrial and commercial properties
• Leases and tenancies of residential and commercial properties
• Consumer and retail financing (Conventional & Islamic)
• Other matters involving discharge of charge, transfers, charges and other dealings involving residential and commercial properties

Continuing her commitment to professional growth, Durga completed her Masters Degree in Commercial Law at Universiti Malaya in 2021.
